Abstract

The image of the future is an urgent need of our society, which moves without knowing one. Education is what first and foremost produces the future. Thus, it is imperative to focus our attention on education above all else. In the image of the education of the future, there should be scientific background, calculation, and justification must prevail, which is the approach adopted by fundamental on­tology. Moreover, ignoring the essential elements of the phenomenon of educa­tion leads to the groundlessness of its image. The article considers the concept of ontological exploration of phenomenon of education and the construction of its image within the framework of the cultural and historical reality of the past, present and future. The essence of the modern age is revealed, the essential poverty of education in Russia is expounded. The categorical scheme of ontolo­gical structuring of the sociocultural phenomenon has been developed, the inter­relation of its components has been elucidated. The essential elements of the ed­ucation of the future are explicated, such as imperative essence, universals as primary educational constituents and paradigmatic structure based on the theory of non-Kuhn’s paradigms developed by the author.
