Abstract

The article specifies the main ideas of the concept of scientific revolutions by T. Kuhn on the example of knowledge transfer between V. Vernadsky and L. Gumilyov. It examines the mechanism of embeddedness of the new idea in the dynamics of two generations of scientists, that is for the 50-year period. The intellectual impact of V. Vernadsky for L. Gumilyov has been proved on the example of space-time definition, on the concept of life energy and the application of the methods of natural sciences for the social sciences.
