Unity of the World in Postnonclassical Epoch (Statement of the Problem)

Abstract

While classical metaphysics teaches us to treat any variant solely as a subcase of an invariant, non-classical thought tends to treat variety regardless of any obvious invariants, primarily as plurality. Yet in both cases the implicit opposition of one vs. multiple is present. A contemporary critical review of the problem of unity of the world, aiming against this rigorous opposition, is to rise the question of such a conceptualization of this unity that would be able to encompass the multiplicity in its various forms.
