Abstract

The paper analyse the evolution of Berdiaev’s understanding of the History in the context of historical events of the first two decades of the XXth century in Russia and Europe. Philosophical creativity of Berdyaev was noted intellectual search and changing ideological positions regarding the understanding of history: Marxist, idealistic, mystical-religious, personalistic. The author considers the theocratic conception of history and connection the idea of the meaning of history with free and creative personality in Berdyaev’s “Meaning of history”. History, as understood by the author, for Berdyaev possible as “my story.”
