Abstract

In this article advertising is considered as one of the trends of consumer culture. It reveals the nature of the impact of advertising on people, especially the moral content and the role of advertising in the consumer society. A conclusion is made about predominantly destructive influence of advertising on social culture. It outlines ways of influence on advertising discourse
to neutralize its negative potential.
