Abstract

The problem of pluralism of cultures on the basis of freedom as general basis of the person, cultural and historical subject is analyzed in the article. It is substantiated that in the conditions of globalization the democratic pluralism of cultures should remain at observance of norms of international law and if globalization acts as a mankind development tool, instead of turning into abstract end in itself. Globalization is understood as expression of the certain values created by cultures, civilizations, instead of as steady natural-historical process. One of means of control of absolutisation of certain valuable installations, except the international legal norms, is a dialogue of cultures.
