Abstract

The mental category represents the system of socially-psychological peculiarities of a subject that determine its specifi c character of the perception of the world, speech, behavior, activities, self-identifi cation. The mental category allows to analyze the specifi c character of activity of different subjects and to reveal new aspects of socio-cultural dynamics. These are the new epistemological abilities of the category. The essential condition of getting over anthropological crises is adequate changes of mentality to historical challenge.
