Philosophy of Education and the Problems of Modern Reforms.

Abstract

The articles addresses the problems of Russia’s modern education within the sociopolitical
context. As seen by the author, the underlying conditions for degradation of Russia’s education
as a social institute are development of ultra-liberal version of capitalism in Russia, the spread
of ideology, based on the cult of omnipotent money and all-powerful market, that disrupts the
great culture of Russia. The important task of today is to overcome the present-stage deadlock,
to revive traditional values and the social responsibility feeling.
