The Problem of Chronology of Logical Treatises of Aristotle in Studies of XXth century Scholars

Abstract

In presented article the question of appropriateness of chronological studies of logical treatises of Aristotle is being asked. To answer it the author undertakes an overview of existing studies on chronology of Organon. As the result of analysis of the relation of aims of such studies and solutions offered in them, the conclusion is made, that studies of chronology as they exist at a moment cannot be useful in solving the problems, which arise in course of interpretation of logical heritage of Aristotle.
