Language as Means of Communication and Solutions of Problems in the Global World
Abstract
The article discusses the problems of communication in the modern world, where a key
role has a language. In this context, the author investigates the precondition of the emergence
of a common language of international communication, analyzes the objective circumstances in
which different languages have the advantage. The article shows the fl aws and limitations of the
use of artifi cial languages in comparison with natural languages. Among them, due to objective
reasons, the priority to date has been the English language. The author draws attention to the
inextricable link of natural languages with the culture of the peoples who speak these languages,
and comes to the conclusion that the best means of addressing the many challenges of the global
world is a dialogue which respects cultural differences and civilizational unity of the various
countries and peoples.
