Abstract

The article attempts to make a historic-sociological analysis of the types of Soviet professional philosophers of the 1950-s. The article reviews the problems that interested them at that time and the ways in which they endevoured to solve them. The material for such analysis for the author was the story by M.K. Petrov, written in 1959.
