Psychological Co-ordinates of Paradise

Abstract

This paper presents and substantiates the assumption, according to which as initial, source
material for the formation of both the archetype and the mythologema of Paradise served the
self-perception of the archaic consciousness, special feature of which – transpersonal form
of organization and functioning, mythical nature, syncretism, emotionality, out-of-morality –
formed the prerequisites “paradisiacal” self-appreciation.
