Abstract

The article examines the role of philosophy and science in the formation of modernity (the modern era). The specific of humanistic interpretation of science in the philosophy of Kant analyzed. It is shown that civil society project of Kant had a model of science as an area of freedom. The first liberal modern of XIX century, prepared with the philosophy of Kant, implemented humanistic interpretation of modern science as a sphere of freedom, identifying both engineering science component.
