Abstract

The author examines the nature of man as a generic set of system properties, including the
substantial features of human behavior, universal needs and invariants of mental and spiritual
organization of people. Analyzing needs, the author considers them as objectively real factors
of human behavior. The author distinguishes between the need and its projection in the human
psyche, the need and its subject, need and its different states. Particular attention is paid to the
difference between human needs and interests.
