Muslim atomism as a strict finitism.

That atomistic doctrine which was elaborated by Muslim thinkers (especially by the scholars of Kalam) is of finitism’s type according to which the atoms are not separated one from another by a certain vacuum so that this kind of atomism doesn’t contradict continualism. As a result of the absolute homogeneity of atoms, which are not distinct in the aspect of figure and other similar modes, the mechanism of combing the hole from its parts/elements differs fundamentally from that of an alphabetics’ one. Criticizing the theological interpretations of Kalam’s atomism the author demonstrates that actually this teaching didn’t overpass the limits of natural philosophy.
