My Meeting with G.V. Florovsky

Abstract

I remember a meeting with G.V. Florovsky as unique and precious, because he personally was well acquainted with many creators of the Russian religious and philosophical renaissance, although he was more likely to relate to his younger generation. In our meeting there was not a shadow of alienation or foreignness. There was a conversation of compatriots who loved and appreciated Russian philosophy and culture. I hope that this can be felt by reading the letter of George Vasilievich Florovsky.
