Abstract

The first part of the current article reviews the reception of the concept of apokatastasis by a number of Russian emigrants from the early 20th century. In this regard, one previously unknown note of N.O. Lossky in defense of overall redemption is of high interest. The second part analyzes the key idea of the religious and philosophical magazine “Lohengrin” (initiated by a group of Russian emigrants in Finland in 1947 and 1954), and provides some of the biographical details of the publishers. The deduction is drawn that “Lohengrin” was a manifestation of one of the subcultures of Russian Silver Age.
