Nicholas Stankevich''s Philosophy of Culture: to the Question of Russian Europeanism

Abstract

N.V. Stankevich is Russian philosopher, poet, the сreator of literary and philosophical circle. Circle Stankevich contributed to the development of philosophical culture in Russia. Its activity was connected with the emergence of such a social and spiritual phenomenon, as the Russian Еuropeism. The author reveals the historical significance of the creative heritage of Stankevich. The article analyzes the main ideas Stankevich’s philosophy of culture in the context of European and Russian philosophical traditions.
