Abstract

The author holds the idea that in modern sciences about society and man there is quite often meet idyllic idea of prospects of digital society. The Marxist view of idyll of the digital future is based on fears that its new forms connected with digital technologies also will be added to old forms of alienation. These technologies
do not promise us the best world for all, more happy and more safe, they propose to us only solutions of problems of the present. To estimate correctly these technologies, it is necessary the new view on a concept of alienation. Digitalization of society does alienation of man from the essence still more deep. Modern Marxists claim that digital alienation is the last stage of alienation of man. Digital society represents special stage of capitalism where mechanical production of goods is succeeded by the kingdom of mass media and production of shows, where cult of labor is succeeded by consumption cult, where maintenance of existence is succeeded by motive of compensation. So far at the universities exclusively optimistic image of digital society dominates, critical perception, the critical analysis of digitalization in educational programs is almost absent. Features of alienation in digital society remain unclear both for adherents of optimistic approach, and for the critics proceeding from idea of “eternity” of alienation.
