In the article, the author analyzes the foundations of his studies of sociality, such as culture, economics, personality, social institutions and institutions, governance and power. The need for such an analysis is explained, on the one hand, by the
criticism of copyright research by sociologists and philosophers, and on the other, by the author’s own thoughts and problems. First, the concept of sociality is intro duced and it is shown how the study of this phenomenon reacts to the connection between sociality and culture. Then, the remaining grounds, as well as the conse quences arising from their consideration and involvement in the study of sociality, are sequentially discussed. The topic of analysis of sociality in the logic of distinguishing between modernity, culture to modernity and postmodernism is considered separately, while the author refers to the works of V. Inozemtsev and V. Belyaev, with which he partially agrees, partially argues. Analyzing the foundations of his studies of sociality, the author illustrates and reinforces his theses with the empirical material of the history of culture (since he is also a culturologist), as well as with modern material, including domestic one.
