Abstract

On October 7–9, 2024, within the framework of the scientific project of the А.М. Gorky Institute of World Literature of the Russian Academy of Sciences “Literature through the prism of philosophy: the history of Russian lyrics in the aesthetics of Vl. Solovyov”, the international scientific conference “Russian poetry through the prism of Russian philosophy” was held with the participation of the State Budgetary Institution of Moscow “A.F. Losev’s House –
research library and memorial museum” and with the information support of the journal “Voprosy Filosofii”. More than 60 researchers from Russia, Germany, Italy, Israel, Hungary, Montenegro, China and the USA took part in it. The general problem field of the conference was the interaction of poetry and philosophy in the context of Russian culture from the end of the 18th century to the beginning of the 21st century. Although the sections did not have names, the structuring factor for them was not this or that methodology, but the research material itself – each of the sections focused on philosophical poetry of a certain historical and literary period or circle of authors, offering at the same time
a rich variety of research optics and approaches – from the contextualization of the poet’s philosophical ideas to the study of aesthesis as a poetic practice of translating a philosophical concept into a visual and sensual image.
